I am trying the post on a Okuma Cadet CNC Lathe (OSP5020L Controller) and a Okuma Crown (OSP700L Controller) .

I am wondering ..."Anyway to trim the Lead Zeros on the X, Z, F, etc.?"

See below code in "red".

@Robert_Allport, that is possible of course. We can add a property for this later. Right now we are more looking for feedback if this post runs machines without any issues, all "cosmetic" changes can be done afterwards 😉

AchimN,

     Here is a little feed back on the Okuma Post:

The Post Needs to output a "%" sign for Start and End of NC Code. That didnt seem to be happening

in the Test (Okuma Generic) post.

Also;

       The post was outputting to "Slow" of an Spindle RPM for the controller. On our machine 50

rpm is the slowest acceptable rpm or the machine will not move. When I edited the NC file and changed the S6 to S50

the machine accepted it and proceeded with the next code. The part was programmed in CSS. See Below:

G96 S6 M3 M41                      >>>>>>>   "S6" RPM to Slow For Controller. Should be Min of 50 rpm

@Robert_Allport, thanks for your feedback!

The updated post will show up into the library soon.

Changes:

- added "%" at the beginning and end of the program

Regarding the RPM issue:

The post is just using the values you defined into the operation.

Of course i could generate a warning / error if the rpm is above/below any value, but this can be different from machine to machine.

So the easiest way is to take care of this by programming the operations.

AchimN,

            I believe that I did set the rpm correctly (See Picture Below).  However I do agree with you that it may be different from machine to machine. So perhaps the best way (?) to handle that would be to add a "line" (MinimumSpindleSpeed) to the "User Defined Properties" list under the "MaximumSpindleSpeed"  so that value could be entered and stored and used in the JS code .

@Robert_Allport you are absolutely right, there was an issue regarding this (unit issue).

Updated post will be online soon.

Thank you so much for your feedback!

I need a post for the OKUMA   OSP-P300LA-e.  Does anyone know where I can get one?

Are there vendors who build custom posts?
