Issues with slots

I'm using HSMXpress and I'm having a few issues with the slot feature.

1. I'm using a 1/16" end mill to make a 55mm long slot on top of my part but it is starting the cut about 1/4" too soon thus making the cut more like 60mm+.

2. Trying to use a 9/16" diameter 15/64" cut width slot cutter to cut 4 slots of the side of my part inside the 2 cavities but no tool path is being generated.

For the grooves in the wall use Contour.   Contour toolpath on the lower edge in the backside.     Have to adjust the leads to clear the other walls.    Might make it easier if you go ahead and model the vertical fillet that would come from the cutter.  

Not sure on the slot.
