Blending cuts

I am wondering if anyone would know if it is possible to blend or continue the finish turn cuts on this part? I am tuning the gear O.D. Than I finish the back radius. The issue is the tool moves to the front of the part after the gear O.D., then comes back to finish the back radius. I would like to turn the gear and then rapid in Z to finish the back radius. I do not want to turn the undercut with this tool. Is this possible?

Hi @ronald.edwards

can you attach ipt file as well? Attached .iam file is an assembly without components, therefore I am not able to see geometry that you are trying to machine.

I just opened the file that I attached and the part is there along with the operations I am doing. I pretty sure I have it figured out. I used the approach and retract options, selecting last tool path and first tool path and, I got what I was looking for.

I had someone else in the office try to open the file and they had the same problem. I will have to look into this. I have posted assy. files before with no issues.

You need to provide the ipt files along with the iam file. you are able to open the iam file because you probably have the ipt files in the same folder as the iam file.
