We need a whole lot of more info here.

What version of what software?

Did you click new holder or isn't that what you meant with the arrow?

Do you see the same message when you do other things in the software?

Does this happen all the time? Have you tried a restart of the software and the computer?

Yup I was getting this in the last HSMWorks 2016 dev build as well. I reported it to @Steven.Shaw, he couldn't replicate it, and I just tried again today using the 2017 beta build and it's not appearing now.

I have yet to duplicate this, but Clearly it can be done. Can you tell me more about your operating parameters?

What version of HSMWorks is being used? HSMWorks2016-R4.41226?

Has the library been touched by HSMWorks2016-R4.41226 or later and then opened in an earlier version of HSMWorks?

I'm guessing that is the build where it became a problem due to the additional mill/turn features being added. But I update pretty much as soon as each build is available and rarely roll back.

No. Also I had this happening in Inventor HSM 4.1.0.075, but I can't remember the circumstances of that now. I do have a library that's referenced between the two though. In any case, when it first happened, I tried creating a holder in several different libraries as well as the active document, since when it first happened my immediate assumption was that the library was read-only.

Hi all,

Just to confirm. This was a bug in the HSMWorks devel release. But has since been fixed.
