Request for feedback: Current Position prototype

Hi everyone,

We're working on a feature to replace the Default Folder concept.

The following video shows the new concept.

We've got many ideas for how to leverage this in the future, but would like to hear what you guys think so far.

Thanks in advance,

Mircea

but the two are almost entirely disconnected from eachother, and surely the UI team would be ineffective. Seems like a huge logical fallacy 😕

@porsbym This end of program marker is a great idea, but IMO it should appear and behave exactly the same as the history marker in their respective CAD products. In Inventor & Solidworks when the EOP is dragged up, everything below it is greyed out and unavailable. I agree there should be CAM specific variations in the behaviour for the benefit of workflow, but the appearance and application of the object should be the same....

The Inventor HSM UI already bucks the Inventor UI standards too much as it is, I hope that new stuff you guys create adheres closer to it.

F360 is different, because it's EOP is in the timeline, not in the browser.

Note, I love to engage on the forums. However, I spend a lot of time in meetings trying to help clear the path for our amazing team of Developers working on Manufacturing at Autodesk. So, if I don't respond immediately, it's not that I don't care.
