Hi,
Follow the instruction of tutorial #1. I build the input file in abaqus 6.14. The geometry is a simple tensile test specimen. (I will attach the inp file) I simulate a injection-compression process to create a simple plate in MoldFlow Synergy. I choose BASF Ultramid 8202 PA6 as the matrix material. I put 12% high strength carbon fiber as a filler. I add my own stress-strain data from tensile test into material properties. (I will attach the mpi file and the sdy file) Then I use Advanced Material Exchange to map the fiber orientation results(from moldFlow simulation) into the abaqus input file. I get a new input file and .sif file inclued the fiber orientation.(I will attach the new inp file and sif file) Then I run the input file in abaqus. The analysis is completed. But when I check the results, it is different from the tutorial (http://help.autodesk.com/view/ACMPAN/2016/ENU/?guid=GUID-1F347AEA-6657-4BD7-835A-10A839A6F001). And it is not make sence to me.(I will attach the abaqus result odb file)
Questions:
1.SDV9 should be a changing value through the process until the specimen is failed. My results shows a constant value for SDV9 through the whole process.
2.SDV1 should have 2 values(1 or 2). 1 means the matrix is not failed. 2 means the matrix is failed. My results shows some different values.(for example: 2.3,1.7).
3.From document, it says the supported 3D element type is Abaqus: C3D4, C3D8, C3D8R, C3D10, C3D10M. When I choose C3D10 as the element type, there is no problem. But When choose C3D8 or C3D8R as a element type. I can map the fiber orientation results sucesssully. Then I wanna export the result into structural package. When I click the "Select" buttom beside the environment. There will be no response for the software whenever how long I wait.
I appretiate any help given.
The attachment file is oversize. I will share the University of Windsor Drop box link and download code:
