Sure! Golaem ships with a cloth simulation engine which can interact with the simulation

Regarding fur, GOlaem can ingest Xgen setups directly from Maya or any Alembic file exported from Houdini / Yeti
The fur can then be attached to some skinned geometry (and deformed accordingly)
For animation, it can be skinned to bone chains along the curves
