Promoting your group event/meeting

Here are some tips for effectively promoting your event - remember, let us know at groupnetwork@autodesk.com if you want assistance promoting!

 

Create a Compelling Website or Landing Page:

  • Design an engaging page that highlights the key details of your event. Link to this in any of your social media advertising. 

Email Your Network:

  • Send an email to your members and networks. Make it easily forwardable to encourage sharing by leaders and members.

Leverage Social Media:

  • Post about your event on social media platforms and encourage leaders and members to share it.
  • Aim for two posts per week on LinkedIn and X.

Engage with Other Organizations:

  • Invite and cross-promote with other local communities, industry associations, technology companies, and relevant publications or websites.
  • Remember to include local universities or community colleges. 

Offer Incentives:

  • Attract attendees with door prizes, good food, and other tangible perks. Seek partners and sponsors to help with these incentives.

Create and Distribute Flyers:

  • Design a flyer and distribute it in locations where your target audience will see it.
  • Consider mailing physical invitations to local companies.

Paid Marketing:

  • Utilize Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and local publications for paid promotions.
