I sometimes use the description field in properties to enter the length of a part for when I am creating a cutting list.
Working in Animation to explode the parts and making a drawing with a BOM.
When the BOM populates, I discover gaps where I haven't entered information to a part. Also I tweak the positions from within the animation, so i am going backwards & forwards between the Model Animation and the Drawing.
It would be good for me to be able to get to the properties from within Animation to add the missing "Description" at the same time as I am positioning the parts.
At the moment I have to leave the Animation return to Design, add the info then return to Animation if I need to and back to the Drawing.
