Licensing change for Project Contributor

This is an important annoucement regarding Project Contributor:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/bim-360-team/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/bim-360...

First version of this document was saying that for impacted users :

Q: Who is impacted by this change?

All subscribers of BIM 360 Team, Fusion Team, A360 Team and Collaboration for Revit are impacted by this change.

Actual version is saying this :

Q: Who is impacted by this change?

All subscribers of BIM 360 Team and Collaboration for Revit are impacted by this change

So, is Fusion Team really concerned or not ?

Best regards

Thanks for sharing!

This change makes sense as the 'invite' option basically granted free access to anyone.

But at the same time it is a large devaluation. It would be good to know!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for posting your question and yes Fusion Team be following the same information as in the FAQ for BIM 360 Team.

Sorry for the delay, it was a holiday in the US today and a lot of us were out of the office.

Thanks for posting your question and hope this helps.

Ok, so Project Contributors will require a subscription to acess the project. What about the Team Members?

Thanks,

Hi Kelvin,

Thanks for posting your question. Team members already require a subscription to access a project. The difference between a Team member and Project Contributor is that a Project Contributor can only see the projects they are invited to. So if you invite me into one of your projects as a Project Contributor, that is all I will see until you invite me to other projects.

Hope this helps and have a great day.
