Uploading an assembly and sub-assemblies

I'm new to Fusion Team and currently running the trial version.  I'm trying to upload my assembly designs from Vault to Fusion Team.  The designs are from Inventor.

For simple designs, where there is only 1 top assembly and its associated part models, it works find in Fusion Team.

Once I try to upload more complex assemblies which contain sub assemblies and library components, it is unable to process it.  Is this a current limitation or is there a specific way to upload these into the Fusion Team

Hi Jason,

Before uploading assemblies, be sure that they resolve to a single folder. You can use Pack and Go to do this. Then try uploading the assembly and see if everything works.

Hope this helps and thanks for posting to the forum.

Hi Bud,

I have tried this option as well. I have tried just the sub assembly and it's related models but for some reason it shows cannot process.

I will try again as there may be something in our designs which is causing error.

Hi Jason,

I forwarded this to the Inventor Team to see if there are any tips or tricks on this. He may reply directly here, or if he shares with me, I'll follow up here.

Hope this helps.

Hi Bud,

I tried again this morning. This time I think I know where I went wrong. I was not choosing the correct parent assembly, and believe I wasn't waiting for all the corresponding ipt models to upload and reach 100%.

I am able to see my full design now and I will start exploring. Thanks.

Thanks Jason for the update. I almost added that last night to the reply last night. Glad it was just the parent needing to be selected.

Thanks for the update and have a great day, and I'll mark this as solved.
