Restore reference to component in deleted project

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

My team hub uses several projects. In an attempt to clean our workspace, we deleted an obsolete project with no relation to our other projects. Unfortunately, it seems our master assembly (in another project) had an unintended reference to a component in the deleted project. Now, we get the following error when trying to open the master assembly:
"We're not able to open the design because it references designs from a deleted project."

Is it possible to revert the changes we made to regain access to our master assembly?
Alternatively, we have access to an exact copy of the component with the missing reference. Is it possible to redirect this reference?

Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting!

Follow the steps to restore the deleted external reference model to resolve this issue:

  1. Sign into Fusion Team.
  2. Navigate to the Project folder where the assembly or drawing is saved.
  3. Click on the Trash folder in the Project folder.
  4. Open the Trash folder and check whether the deleted component is there.
  5. Click on Restore.
  6. Start Fusion and Re-test opening master assembly.
If the deleted file is not in the trash then check the trash at other project folder levels.
