Production Roles - How to limit access to Operators?

Hi Everyone, I work a production environment where the operators get files from the engineering department. This files shouldn't be modified. Operators need to be able to change parameters and post process G-code to a CNC router. Is there a way to grant them access to do that while restricting their ability to save changes made?

Please note that these are the available permission levels per project.

At this moment we don't have any additional way of managing permissions.
Hopefully, folder-level permissions are on their way, I know a lot of people have been requesting it.
