I'm using the Management Extension and I have files (e.g., 3D models) associated with part numbers that have generated by this extension. I need to export these files—especially STEP files—with the part number as the file name or included in the exported data.
However, I can’t figure out how to do this. When I export a STEP file, it doesn't seem to include or use the generated part number from Manage. I'm not sure if I’m missing a setting, if this needs to be done through a specific workflow, or if it's just not supported.
Does anyone know how to configure the export so that the generated part numbers are included in the filename of the exported STEP files?
Any help or workaround would be appreciated.
