COmponent view is TERRIBLE!
Just give us a BOM VIEW instead!
Component view shows all the messy stuff, try looking at a PCB, there are things in there that should not appear, like copper holes, silk screens, layers etc and other silly stuff.
It should just show the ACTUAL ITEMS , such s PCB Board and components.
It should IGNORE components that were set up as FOLDERS so we could group items together.
I really don't see what advantage COMPONENT VIEW will bring?
We still have to sift through all the data folders.
The icons of the components are too small!
The navigation names of folders projects etc across the top get TRUNCATED even though there is plenty of room to display the full names.
The component view is really no different to the browser tree, except for a few more fields ( that you cannot edit anyhow)
I also tried out the FUSION Mange Extension, its basically the same thing, and again, show all the rubbish data!
So I cancelled my subscription for the extension!.
Instead of component view, how about give us a drop down menu where the browser tree header is and we can select our own custom views!
