360 Fusion, Drive

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post.

I have been using the a360.autodesk.com storage that comes with my subscription. I know this is going away so I have been logging on to the drive.autodesk.com and will begin using it.

However, I was looking for viewers for my team and found the following URL:

which took me to A360, since I have an account, I signed on and was taken to Fusion which has a Demo project and Carol's First Project. I am unable to rename the projects and I am unable to add a project because I have reached my limit with two projects.

I'm pretty sure I do not need Fusion. What I do need is:

1. Understand where to upload/download files to share - I'm guessing this is drive.autodesk.com

2. Where are the cloud viewers for my team so that when I upload a CAD or Revit file they may view it online?

3. What is free with the subscription, i.e. storage amount?

4. How do I stop my browser from signing me on to Fusion when I am trying to use my cloud storage that comes with my subscription and allow for users to view without have the software?

Hi @cjmyersAJN7F, hopefully this will answer some of your questions.

1. I would suggest using the Fusion Hub, go to myhub.autodesk360.com. If you're using Revit, a long term solution may be to consider a BIM Team Hub team.bim360.com.
2. The viewer is in Fusion Hub, and is capable of showing Revit files (and Revit sheets)
3. There is a 2 GB upload limit, meaning you cannot download a single file larger than 2 GB to the cloud at one time. Note: Fusion 360 accounts have no data size limitations on native Fusion 360 data, but does have a 500 GB (per user) limit on non-Fusion data (like spreadsheets, word documents, other file types, etc).
4. Not exactly sure what the browser is doing but you could try sharing by creating a public link: How to Share a Fusion 360 Design. This article includes instructions on how to do that through the dashboard (since you are not using Fusion 360 application).

Sorry for the late reply. I couldn't get back to this.

I still don't understand the cloud storage types. The storage I had with my AutoCAD and Revit subscription was the Drive. This now has a message to try the "new drive". They're both titled AutoDesk Drive so I really don't know what that means. I access these from My Products under Drive.

I have another app titled Storage. This takes me to A360 Drive where I receive a message that this will be going away in Sept. 

I have no idea what Fusion 360 is. I ended up there because I was searching for AutoCAD and Revit viewers.

I just noticed that I have another app called Viewer, which takes me to Design Views. 

I work for state government and we have no funds to purchase any additional products. I am looking for what storage option I should used based on my subscription to AutoCAD and Revit.

Also, looking for where I can upload Revit files that my team can "view" in the cloud. They do not have Revit.

Hi @cjmyersAJN7F,

Thanks for your response. Autodesk Drive can be used to cover everything you need. Since you are already a Revit subscriber, you don't need to purchase anything. Autodesk drive comes with the subscription. You can upload Revit and Acad files and share those links with your team. Autodesk drive, creates a public URL to share with your team. Sharing a file means they can view the .rvt model or the .dwg just as you would in the Viewer. The team does not have to have an Autodesk account. The Autodesk Drive has 25GB of storage. 

The A360 Drive is something else, and you are correct about it being discontinued in September. I believe the "new drive" message is just directing you to use Autodesk Drive.
