Workstation requirements

Hi all,

I have to buy a new pc to elaborate meshes on Fusion 360 to transform them into solid and then use inventor for the future modeling needed. I need to process meshes of up to 1 million triangles. I would like to know if there are any specific parameters to consider in addition to those recommended for choosing the best machine. Also I would like to know what's the recommended internet connection in order to use the software with files of this size without problems.

I've seen this Lenovo ThinkStation P500, do you think is powerful enough?

Hi,

In regards to the computer, the graphics card is fairly old, I suggest to look for a P2000 at least (T2000 are more recent and better though), if you can afford it, P4000 does magic.

If I translate correctly, 32 Gig of RAM ? this is perfect

The processor is fine.

oH! my bad, but great news, slap a GTX card in it and you'll get a work and gaming computer at the same time ! 🙂
