Won't start without an update for a MacOS version that is no longer supported

Hey, I'm a long-time Fusion360 user on a very old MacBook Pro, just for personal use. My machine was running High Sierra (10.13) last week and Fusion 360 was running fine (even if it has not received updates since April 2021 I believe). The thing is that I have had to update to Mojave (10.14) because another app that I use a lot is going to drop High Sierra support. So after doing a clean install and restoring things little by little, I've found a quite concerning problem with Fusion360, and it is that it won't let me open my outdated Fusion360 version that was running with High Sierra. I receive a pop-up seconds after opening the program (after having logged in of course) that either lets me push a button to update it or quit Fusion360. The problem is that when I run the updater, Mojave is no longer supported (which I understand as it is quite old I guess), but does not make any sense to me. Why wouldn't the program let me update to the latest compatible Fusion360 version of Mojave and let me use it as it did with High Sierra?

Please help!

Best regards,

Alvaro.

I did not have much hope of receiving a solution (since I've been digging without luck in the past for solutions on other things that AutoDesk unnecessarily screwed up with this software), but I did have hope to receive at least a reply such as "we screwed up and you now cannot use Fusion360". As an engineer with lots of years of using AutoDesk products (and someone who loved Inventor Pro), this is really a mind-changing situation.

While I did see this post, I did not feel it was my place to respond (I am not an Autodesk employee).

However, here goes ...

I don't think anyone screwed up.  The Fuison360 team usually announces what OS version on Windows an MacOS loose support well in advance on the usual channels, e.g. here on the forum or in the Fusion 360 Facebook group etc.

I believe ( don't quote me on it) the "what's new" blog posts that are released with every update also contain that info. That blog post can be accessed right from within Fusion 360:
