So windows 7 is EOL, I use it.

Is there some reason I need to be reminded again and again with a orange alert bar telling me I'm not in compliance?

It looks like it reappears hourly.

The experience is that every time Fusion is started , the banner appears and when dismissed will not re-appear in that session.

That isn't my experience. It continues to re appear without restarting fusion.

Yes, I see the same. Every few hours it pops up again.

Please Autodesk, can you make a config option that completely disables this warning? It's so annoying. Though Win10 is even more annoying, I won't ever switch.

Good luck! You'll need it because Software such as Fusion 360- will stop working altogether at some point in time.

That is what No support means.

The primary goal was to remind users that they are ineligible for product support on that installation, with a tip on how to resolve it (upgrade to 10). We use a similar format for our macOS End of Life banners, albeit with a link to the Mac App Store to upgrade.

The hourly reminder is not intended - we have found the cause of this and should have it fixed in a future release - but we felt it critical to remind our users that the support they might be paying for does not apply to the current OS.

Please note, that it's not our desire for users to be suddenly surprised one day when they can no longer install or update Fusion 360 - some form of reminder will remain.
