Will the hole tool ever get fixed!? Lost points

This is a very old bug, when the hole tool losses all reference points it defaults back to Single Point and you can't change it to the original setting of multiple points From Sketch. Only fix is delete the feature and recreate then that snowballs through the timeline breaking other features.

Here's what the dialog looks like when the points are lost, placement types greyed out.

Advanced Solidworks user here and I ran into this problem after 10 min helping a friend learn CAD via Fusion.

I'm surprised the development team neglected to add an option to redefine the sketch, or even re-select the sketch points individually. Seems like an oversight as there doesn't appear to be a workaround without deleting the hole feature. As the OP said, this will cascade through the entire history, breaking all future references to the holes.

Stuff like this seems small, but really makes a difference in a professional setting. It might be a while before Fusion 360 is ready for the real world.

I am happy to report that this bug is being fixed right now.  The fix should become available in a release later this year.

I am experiencing this bug in version 2.0.10356. Any update on when it may be fixed?
