Why wont Fusion let me delete these squares I just made?

I wanted to put some circles in equidistant places, so I made some squares and then put circles at the corners. I am now trying to delete the squares, but the software is not working. It doesn't produce any kind of error message, but it also doesn't delete the squares.

Please explain what I must do in order to delete these squares.

Normal to select them, press Delete.

I don't see any circles, so maybe there is more to the story, than simple select problem.

You must have made some kind of error in your attempt to view the image.

I would suggest you edit the sketch containing the squares and select them then toggle the lines to Construction Lines.  This will be better because it will give you a reference for the circle sketches you may need later.  Fusion 360 will ignore the construction lines.

By the way, the circles are very hard to see in your graphic.

Perhaps you can file a bug with Fusion360 suggesting that the default drawing options for circles in sketches is too difficult to see, as the image is a direct screen capture from my desktop.

After right clicking the undeletable features and selecting Edit Sketch, I was finally able to delete them. Had the software told me it was not editing the correct sketch it would have saved everyone some time, but instead it flickers and does nothing.

Fair point, wasn't in need of finding them,

Delete works outside Edit Sketch too, so be careful as you proceed.

I agree with John, you used the squares for a purpose, deleting them may unhook the circles, catch 22.
