Why is my custom appearance on my model fluctuating between light and dark?

I modified the default linear brushed aluminum appearance to use a different image, but it is causing a lot of issues in how it appears on my model in the Design interface as well as the Render interface. It is usually extremely dark despite the brightness of the image I used being set to 100. As I rotate and zoom in on the model, the appearance will fluctuate between really dark and light on the different bodies. See the attached photo for details. I tried adding some emitters to my design space, but even when they were really large they didn't have an effect on this fluctuation glitch. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciate!

Can you share your model ?

If so, please export it as a .f3d and attach it to a post.

This could be a Z-Fighting problem, but I am not sure.

I have no idea how that material got in that state.
I would duplicate the Aluminum Brushed from the material library and then change the color to something dark.

However, a dark object on a glaring, white background with a large homogenous light source will crate a high cotrast image that will make it difficult to see the finer surface details.

I reapplied a Aluminum Brushed texture and rotated it 90 degrees, just as you did.

Then simply changed the color to something dark.

For illumination I used an HDRI from HDRI haven:

I rendered these images with the canvas render and also not let them render to completion.

It is possible that these renders look different when using the local, or Cloud render.
