Why has "save as stl" changed to "save as mesh"?

The right click menu on the tree, used to give me an option to save as STL

why has this changed?

@ian "Save as STL" option is renamed as "Save as Mesh". From this dialog, you can specify the format in which you want to save.

Were you not going to tell us? I was just using the save as STL feature yesterday.

Hi,

1. you can still save it as STL
2. additionally there is the option for saving as 3MF
3. both are combined under "Save as Mesh"

 

@Rushikesh.kadam had already pointed this out.

AfterI save to Mesh, the drop down on the right of screen shows the format "STL" but the command is not live??

@Anonymous the 'Format' option is grayed out if 'Send to 3D Print Utility is checked.
