Why am I getting notifications about Fusion360 modifying apps on my Mac?

I just recently upgraded my OS to Ventura (13.2.1, if it matters).  I'm now getting "Privacy & Security" notifications:

"Autodesk Fusion 360" was prevented from modifying apps on your Mac.

Sure, I could probably go loosen a security setting somewhere to ensure the notification doesn't get displayed.

But, the underlying question remains.  Why is Fusion360 trying to modify apps in the first place?

Hi @wnace.

This is new functionality of Ventura. Fusion has always been doing this as part of its update process - it needs to be able to modify its own files in order to complete the installation process. It is safe to allow these permissions, and should hopefully only ask you one time.
