when trying to open a design, fusion freezes.

I experienced today a slight problem. I created a design (assembly of many components) for a building I plan to make for my model railway layout, which opened perfectly till this morning.

Unfortunately, now, every time I try to open the design, it fails to open and Fusion freezes. I tried restarting the program, the computer, even shutting down my computer and starting it anew, nothing works as for now, and my Fusion 360 is up to date as of any update.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks in advance.

Can you share the design you are having issues with?  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Sorry, jhackney1972, but it won't work that way as i can't open the model. Each times I try Fusion freezes.

Although I can share it as a "link". Here it is : https://a360.co/3cbqY6z

I even tried to copy the model into another folder but even then it won't open, when other models open. Can't understand what in the blazes is happening...

I can only view the model, you did not allow download.

Thanks a lot. Now the file opened like a charm. Can't still find what was wrong with it though. Can you enlighten me on why it failed before ?

again my thanks for the help,

Eric.

Fusion 360 had an update released yesterday, maybe that had something to do with it but otherwise, I have no idea.  Use my method of exporting, described earlier, to grab yourself a local "archieve" copy to your local drive.  Just keep in mind that it will not update and save over it from time to time.
