When trying to export a model as a .step file, it is appearing in my computer folder as a .cx3d file

I am trying to export my file to .step to send to a manufacturer but when I do the file is appearing as a .c3xd file. I guess my 3D printing software is causing this in some way but how?! How can it override what I am telling fusion to do with the file?

What method are you using to export? Does it include this dialog?
