Web viewer not displaying referenced models correctly

I'm having a problem when I use the web viewer to share a model and with the download files it produces on a public shared link. Some subassemblies with referenced components and joints are not aligned correctly.

image.pngimage.png

The picture on the left is the correct version as seen in F360. On the right is the web view. A download file in F360 format from the web link also has problems although sometimes in different places. This seems to be where there is a linked component and the component has been made rigid with a joint. However it still occurs even if the whole model is made into a rigid group.

I know I could create the same model without using referenced components or joints but this would not be the required workflow for the entire project. Also some components of a similar type are generated OK in both views and download files.

The shared link for this model is  https://a360.co/2yrjQeX

Hi @ttump,

I was able to reproduce the issue but I haven't been able to identify what the root cause of this might be yet. I'll continue to investigate the issue and post an update as soon as I have one.

Thank you for reporting the issue!

I assume nothing has been done with this issue? What is ref FUS-44059? Am I able to find this number somewhere and trace progress with the issue? I suspect not!

Hi @ttump ,

We don't have an update on this issue at this point unfortunately. The ticket number is for Autodesk staff to track defect, and customers don't have access to the system.

I apologize for the delay, and I will post an update as soon as we have an update.

Masanobu,

Thanks for your reply.

I just want a add that this issue is not isolated to the displayed model. Files downloaded also show the same problem. Therefore downloaded files are NOT exact copies of online files. I believe this is quite a serious issue.

Regards

Tony
