Ways to connect faces that are not identical

Hello. 

 

I am new to Fusion360 and I am trying to modify a 3d object for 3dprinting.

This is my model. I am trying to enlarge the diameter of the wheel as well as the spokes. However, it's very important that the internal holes and spoke design to be preserved.

 

The solution I have figured out (although not perfect) is to create a 10-polygon, slice all spokes and enlarge the outside resulting object. After this, I tried to extrude the outer spokes towards the inner spokes:

Now there are some visible gaps where the spokes meet. My question is: What other more elegant solution could I use to either extrude the outer spokes or create some perfect planes that connect with the inner hub spokes?

Where are the sketches and features used to create the original geometry?

Is Sketch3 fully defined?

Accepted solution

Solid > Loft > Join, one face to the other face, use Tangent condition on both sides.

do a pair, then circular pattern the pair 5 times.

Wow, this is powerful! Thank you so much for your answer. Although the person above managed to get to the same solution as you, I did not fully understand only from the drawing.

 

It's fantastic how you can move from a shape to another so smooth.
