Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! It looks like you are receiving an error message relating to using an older version of a Fusion 360 design. This usually occurs when the workflow below is used:

  1. Save a Design in Fusion 360 (v1)
  2. Go Offline in the Fusion 360 Client
  3. Edit using the browser to make a new version of the design (v2)
  4. Edit with the client and then create a new version of the design (v2)
  5. Go Online with Fusion 360 Client

Fusion 360 will automatically increment on of the version to be a new higher revision number version. In this example, the last saved v2 will become v3. Per the warning, the versions should reviewed in detail in the Data Panel or in the Item Details in the Dashboard. This will help to make sure that the latest version is the correct, desired version of the design.

You can access the Items details page by navigating to the files location in the data panel within your Fusion hub in a web browser at myhub.autodesk360.com - clicking on the filename will show the item details page. Once in the item details tab, you can view the design versions as shown below to ensure that v86 is the latest version. It looks like M61712-0.0 v86 is shown in your data panel - does this error message occur every time you open this file?

If so, you could try manually refreshing your data panel using these instructions and then reopening the file.

I hope this helps! If you continue to see this message, please gather your diagnostic log files using this procedure and attach them to this forum thread - I am happy to have a look.

I tried this, but it did not solve the problem. I do not see any file with NsCloudBrowserCache_autodesk****.dat.

Thank you

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for the response! Can you confirm if the version you are editing is the same as the latest version shown in the web browser? If a newer version exists in the web browser, you may want to download it for safe keeping.

If you do see a newer version of the design in the web browser, you could try clearing your local cache in Fusion 360 - its possible that something got stuck during the upload of the newer version,

I hope this helps! If you continue to experience problems, please gather and attach your log files using the procedure linked in my previous post - I am happy to have a look.

I tried clearing the cache files, but I am still getting the error message. One other thing, when I close Fusion I get a message that says 0 of 13 files uploading, but they never upload. I believe I sent you the log files, but please let me know if you didn't get them.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I have not received the log files - please email them to paul.clauss@autodesk.com. I am happy to have a look.

Moving forward, I would begin by working through the processes below.

Manually Clear Upload Meter Files:
1. Close Fusion 360
2. Browse to:

Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\production\JobManager360\<ID> (look for latest modified)
Mac OS:
~Library\Application Support\Autodesk\production\JobManager360\<ID> (look for latest modified)

3. Locate the jobs.json and the jobs.json.lck files.
4. Delete both the json and the lck file.
5 Restart Fusion 360 and review the Upload queue.
Note: The files should be recreated at runtime.

Manually Clear Browser Cache:
1. Close Fusion 360.
2. Locate and delete the below directories.

Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk fusion 360\{ID}/PLM360Cache
%LOCALAPPDATA%\temp\Autodesk\BrowserCache

Mac OS:
~Library/application support/Autodesk/Autodesk fusion 360/{ID}/PLM360Cache
Open Terminal and enter open $TMPDIR/Autodesk - locate the  BrowserCache directory

3. Open Fusion 360 and re-test.
Note: The directories and contents should be re-created at run time

These procedures should clear out the upload queue. If they do not, Please work through the procedure below to continue troubleshooting. If you have lost access to the project, you will need to contact the project administrator and have them add you to the project again.

1. Your logs will show the files that are stuck

in your the upload queue, which contains the files causing this error. These files are named alphanumerically, as shown below:

589a2105-47b1-41cc-a5f4-9090773544ee.f3d
User-added image

2. These same files can be found in the Q folder, at the filepath below:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<alphanumericID>\W.login\Q

Remember that your username will be your windows username and your alphanumeric ID will be unique.

In the Q folder, the;

589a2105-47b1-41cc-a5f4-9090773544ee.f3d

file will be shown, along with a copies with an additional extension, as shown below:

589a2105-47b1-41cc-a5f4-9090773544ee.f3d._xx

Deleting the .f3d files and the ._xx files should resolve this error. Please delete all the files below from the Q folder:

589a2105-47b1-41cc-a5f4-9090773544ee.f3d
589a2105-47b1-41cc-a5f4-9090773544ee.f3d._xx

It is possible that the filenames could be scrambled in the copy of the logs - the diagnostic log files tool can sometimes do this to protect privacy. If you are not seeing the files above, see what files are in your UploadQueuedFileList.xml file at the filepath below:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<alphanumericID>\W.login

This XML file can be opened with a text editor or web browser and will contain the filenames (shown in the ID lines and at the end of the filepaths below):
User-added image

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions - I am happy to have a look at the logs.

I do not appear to have the same folder string. Can I assume that you are referring to this?

Fixed the problem by deleting everything in W.login/Q/ did the trick.

I could not find PLM360Cache though and the BrowserCache was named something else. I am not sure whether it is a version difference.

I tried all this, but no solution works for me.

I have a package in an electronic library pointing to version 12 of a package but the latest is version 15.

ANY OTHER IDEAS?
