Very old BUG in surface revolve.

If you uncheck chaining in surface revolve the state is remembered but you get chaining the next time you use surface revolve in the current session.

Here you can see I unchecked chaining the previous use but still get chaining in the next use of the feature. This has been reported before but not sure if it was for surface revolve. Note, you have to cycle chaining on\off to get it to work again.
