Variable Radius Fillet Question

In the project I'm working on, I require some sort of variable fillet to complete it. Though I'm not sure how to perform this. In the image the radius gets larger as the chimney conforms to the Smokebox of this steam locomotive, however on mine it is squared off. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

The rectangular shape next to it is just being used as a reference plane to sketch where the curved cut out at the bottom needed to go, thankyou in advance.

Hi,

Is it something like this what you want to achieve?

The Attached might give you some ideas.

I decided I would do a bit differently, but ran out of time.

Hi, just checked it out again, the current radius on the bottom would conform to a smokebox 6" diameter. Would it be possible to remake this to fit to a smokebox 6.25" in diameter? I've tried to change this in the .f3d file you shared but as I'm unfamiliar with some of these tools its proving rather difficult. Also, the ellipse in the second sketch should be 3" one way and 2.375" the other way.

Would you be able to redo it to those specifications? Thank you for your help.

What happens if you double click on the dimensions and change the to the desired values?

(You might have to increase the Extrusion distance first - it can be any length as long as it isn’t too short.)

Managed to change the values to what I showed in the last image, as for the actual radius curve on the bottom that will sit on the smokebox, I try changing it and everything in the timeline goes crazy. Still having trouble with some of those later extrusions as I don't really know what I'm doing there.

Through lots of trial and error, I finally got it! I managed to make the necessary changes. This has been great for learning some of the other tools in fusion. Thanks for your help!

Having trouble with this one now... Got another model which requires similar work, but getting errors for some reason.
