Using joints in mechanism

Hi, I'm trying to animate a crank slider, I'm not sure if this is possible. I've created a base piece, a crank and a slider with revolute joints. I'm stuck trying to link the push rod to the crank and the slider. I'm presuming a slide joint at the slider end and a revolute joint at the crank end but I'm not sure how to go about it. Will fusion be able to work out the motion constraints for me? Any help much appreciated. I've attached the file as far as I got.

Thanks

Rob

I used a Cylindrical Joint at the crankpin instead of a Revolve Joint because I did not check your alignment between your sliding shoe and the crankpin.  The Cylindrical Joint gives forgiveness if the surfaces are not exactly aligned.

Thanks so much!

How do I get the mechanism to run in a loop so I can do a screen grab video? Thanks!

If you mean like the animation I included in my post, you need to select the Crankshaft Revolve Joint, right click and choose Animate Model.  Make sure you turn off the visibility of your joints so their icons do not foul up you video.  I am using the model I sent back to you, if you change joints just find the one that rotates the crank.
