I found the solution, however I am still confused as to why it does not calculate it out directly.  If you select a face then the diameter of the bottom of a hole it gives you the "Z" length at an angle if you placed a chamfer at the top of the hole.  The work around is to check snap points, select the outer diameter of the chamfer and then the hole bottom.  It will give the angle dimension as well as the true "Z" delta dimension.  My thing is if you are going from a face (a plane) to a hole diameter it should in some way be giving you this dimension without using snap points? same as if I would go from a face to a face.  Seems like just an extra step to take...

Yes, that's correct if you select snap points.  But why should you have to do this?  If I select the top face as reference why doesn't it consider that the plane as if dimensioning to another face.  Shouldn't it do this?

Appears there's no drill point at the bottom of your hole?

Therefore it's only measuring from face to face. not face to a diameter before the drill point
