Using Fusion 360 Offline?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I take quite a few hunting trips this time of the year and I plan on taking my laptop and 3D printer with me to camp this year. There will most likely be times that I cannot get online. What is the best method for me to use Fusion 360 without an Internet connection, but still have all of my designs available? I want to make sure I get everything setup and ready at home before I hit the road.

I make a lot of parts and accessories that I use while outdoors, that's why I plan on taking my printer with me.

Hi @Anonymous,

thanks for posting! Here are some tips:

1. Review the article on how to Work in Offline Mode in Fusion 360. Note that working offline is only possible up to a period of two weeks.

2. In the Data Panel, individually cache every project you wish to work with offline, as shown in the image below:

3. Switch to Working offline mode, as shown below:

4. Make sure you have access to all the files you wish to work on offline. The items you cannot access will be greyed out and impossible to open

5. Exit Fusion 360 without changing the Working Offline status or signing out.

I hope this helps.
