Using Body to Split second Body - Error

I am Trying to use this body:
Camera_Mount_V04_(ABS) v3 Bracket_Middle.png

to split this body:

Camera_Mount_V04_(ABS) v3 Structure_Middle.png

And get: Error: Coincident tools would create illegal or non-manufacturable bodies. Try with separate tools.

This Method worked earlier:

Camera_Mount_V04_(ABS) v3 Bracket_Bottom.png

I have used the "Inspect Interference" Tool with "Include Coincident Faces" but there are no coincident faces detected.

What can be the cause for this?

Thank you!

Created a couple of Surfaces that allowed to do the Split Body correctly without error.  Model attached.

Use the combine-cut tool instead of split body.

The split body tool is not the right tool to "split" 2 solids.

@jhackney1972's workflow uses surfaces for splitting, which is another way of accomplishing what you are looking for.

Thank you!

Works, but very complicated.  Combine/cut is easier!
