User parameters don't work after changing units/unitless

I found an issue with creating user parameters. Simple case: if I create a length (say 10mm) and a multiplier (say 3) then another user parameter full_length set to 'length * multiplier' it works as expected, it comes out as 30mm.

If however I create multmm as '3mm' by accident and then notice and set the units back from 'mm' to 'unitless' the value shows up as '(3mm)/mm' and I can't create full_length2 using it. Even if I go back to the multmm value field, delete the contents and set it to '3' I still can't use it. Visually it is now identical to 'multiplier' - no units and the same value. But it's being treated differently.

Is this a bug? I'm on the personal (free) version of Fusion so this is the only way I could see to report it.
