Hi

I installed Fusion 360 as described in

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

The installed user is ok.

But when signing out and log on whith an other user then Fusion don't start up.

In task manager I see Fusion and Fusionlauncher waiting.

What can I do?

It concern an educational institution where studends use different machines.

Thx,

André

Hi,

Glad to help. I need to ask a few questions, please bear with me.

Can you describe a little more what this is like?

"log on whith an other user then Fusion don't start up."

Does the first user shut down Fusion 360 after logging out?

What exactly happens after the second user enters their login?

Thanks,

Hi,
well, i will explain some more
The computers are joined to a domain
i installed fusion as described in the article
the same user can start fusion
Then I quit fusion and I sign out completely
I log in as a different user
The shortcut is on the desktop
I see the program wants to start
And nothing happens
When I look in task manager
then I see the following
Fusion and fusionlauncher as a process with 0% activity
It is as if he is waiting for something or has no permission
is this a better description?
it is on windows 10 ver 1909

Thanks. I'm still confused.

You said:

If Fusion is quit, and you are signed out, it is impossible to log in until Fusion is started. But you say the program wants to start, but is not. It's impossible to log into Fusion if the program hasn't started. Can you explain how it is you are doing this "I log in as a different user"? Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the details. I'm still confused. It's not clear how you are logging in and out. Can you tell me what application or web site you are using to log out of Fusion when it is already shut down. If Fusion is closed, you cannot log out using Fusion, so how are you logging out?

Can you show me a screen shot of the screen when you are logging in or out, but Fusion is not running?

Thanks,

Thanks. So I assume you are just asking for future reference? I was thinking you were experiencing this problem right now.

In the future, please try this:

Start Fusion

Use Fusion

Log out

Shut Fusion

Restart the computer

Do not use:

  • Offline mode in Fusion
  • Autodesk Desktop application to log out/log in
  • Any other Autodesk ID to log into any other application other than Fusion while Fusion is running.

Please do each time:

  • Log in and log out of Fusion using only Fusion.

When you can go back to the school, if you continue to have problems, please show some images of the screens you are using to log in and out.

Thanks,
