Use 2 perpendicular faces as a single profile in a loft

Hiya

I'm attempting to loft 2 bodies together using 2 perpendicular faces as one profile and another single face as the second profile. Every time I select the 2 faces it selects them as 2 different profiles and tries to perform a loft between them and selecting the 3rd face results in an error. I'm sure I've done this correctly before but I can't remember for the life of me how I did it. I've made a mock file demonstrating the issue I'm facing. I want the 2 green faces to be treated as one profile and the red face to be treated as the second profile.

Any help is hugely appreciated

Lil xx

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that you've ever been able to treat two different faces as a single profile, even if they are tangent.  If they are tangent, you can use Merge Faces, but that is only available in Direct Modeling, and probably does not get the result you are after, anyway.

OK, here is another way using surface loft.  Not elegant, but might be closer to what you are after.

Hiya thanks for the quick replies.

I guess I must just be going crazy then. I managed to achieve the desired geometry using two lofts with an extra sketch to fine tune the profiles which was exactly what I was trying to avoid but needs must.

Thanks or your help!!
