Black screen is appearing on the top of working area(where commands are visible) in my Fusion 360 window. I reinstalled the program and again face the same issue. Earlier it was working fine but after I disk cleanup my C drive, I am facing that issue.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please try adding the environment variables.

Screenshot 2021-04-28 at 1.38.11 PM.png

If above solution is not working.

Restart your PC and try to launch fusion 360

If you still see the same issue, then

Please Remove/edit below Environment Variables

  • Variable Name: QT_OPENGL
  • Variable Value: software

And add below Environment Variables.
  • Variable Name: QT_OPENGL
  • Variable Value: angle

thanks for the quick reply.

First I tried software, then the angle, I rebooted every time before I tried again.

I would love to send that screenshot, but I have no admin rights and I have to bother our IT guy (who lives in another country) to log in with teamviewer to change a setting...

Right now it is set at angle

It's fixed:

since I have no admin rights, I had an admin to log in with team viewer. so the variables were set for the user: administrator.

Once we set the variables for the system instead of user, fusion is back on track!
