Upload Failed

Have tried to help myself to no avail.  I get a periodic Upload Failed message.

When closing Fusion 360 I get an uploads pending message that never completes and has to be quitted.

File Test V2 is not in my data detail either on my laptop or on A360.

A360 allows me to log in and works fine.

Have read all the forum posts with this issue and understood most of them.

Have exported my hard work.

Have cleared user cache without success.

Have uninstalled and installed again (worked a dream) but did not resolve issue.

Message suggests there are 3 files pending upload.

Job Status shows 'There are no uploads in progress'.

Have created Test V2 and deleted it again without success.

Looking for clear advice as to how to resolve this issue.

A360 seems to have the correct version of my current work so it looks like some uploads are working.

Fusion is a brilliant product and it says a lot that this is the first problem I've not been able to resolve without a bit of research.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Do I need to edit a file or something?

Thanks

Howard

Hi @HowardAlison.Smith

Thanks for posting! We appreciate your kind words about Fusion 360 and are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems uploading a specific file.

It looks like you have already tried clearing the user cache and uninstalling/reinstalling, but I wonder if using the instructions at this link to manually clear the upload queue and meter will resolve this behavior.

Are you still trying to upload the "File Test v2" file? Is the problem here that the error message continues to pop up, or that the file cannot be uploaded? If you are having difficulties uploading the file to your Fusion 360 data panel, it may help us troubleshoot to have a look at the problem design - would you mind sharing it with me using any of the techniques at this link

It may also help us have a look into this behavior if you could gather your diagnostic log files using this procedure and attach them to this forum thread - I am happy to have a look! Please let me know if you have any questions - I am happy to assist.

Paul,

You are a genius.  Workaround 3 did the job.  It now uploads as normal, the periodic message seems to have gone and there is no pending upload message when closing it down.

Thanks for your help, I would never have got there on my own.  Thanks for all the work going on, fusion 360 just gets better with each release.

All the best

Howard
