Update frozen at zero and a Python error

I have an impression that both problems started when I installed Anaconda 3 software, which was my first Python IDE on my computer. The E:/ drive is a DVD in my PC, nearly always empty. The R:/ one doesn't exist in any way. The message you see above pops up right after starting Fusion 360 and after shutting it down. Meanwhile, when I check 'job status' in the program, it seems that it tries to update, but the process is stuck at 0%. It disables downloading appearances etc. I have got the big July update and it works ok, but I guess I'm missing some minor patches. Any ideas, should I provide some additional log files (if so, where to look for them?), or should I just reinstall?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting. These errors can occur for a variety of reasons and I would begin troubleshooting by:

  1. Working through the suggestions in this article.
  2. Disabling your Microsoft User Account Controls.
  3. Does Fusion launch in safe mode, which should disable Anaconda 3?

If this does not help, lets try performing a clean uninstall and reinstalling Fusion 360.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions and we'll gather logs if you continue to see problems.

I've already uninstalled Anaconda, so it's probably not #3, but I'll check these. Thank you.
