Unplugging external monitor makes popups appear irretrievably offscreen

Anonymous
Not applicable

I prepare CAM at my desk with an external monitor.   I close my laptop, disconnect the monitor, walk to the shop, open it again.

The main Fusion360 window appears normal, but many popups (Edit Setup, New Setup, Edit Operation, New Operation) are somewhere offscreen, and I can't get them back without restarting the software.  This is pretty disappointing behavior.

Is this fixable?

Hi,

Reset to default Layout (CTRL+ALT+R) should solve that.

It has come up before. You can press Alt+Space them M then an arrow key and the dialog will jump to the mouse pointer.

This bug still exists.

I've experienced this with some of the non modal windows such as when saving as a mesh. Unfortunately, `ALT+SPACE` then `M` (on Windows) doesn't work on these types of "panels" within the main interface. It only works on separate windows (such as modal popups). Also, that key combination can be intercepted first by some other programs such as the Windows PowerToys "Run" feature.

I did find the Reset to default Layout suggestion to work however. Thanks günther!
