Uninstalling Fusion 360

Having uninstalled Fusion 360 I am unable to remove the relative shortcut from my desktop Windows 10.

Have tried various methods.

Message is displayed "Could not find this item" "This is no longer located in C:\Users\Ian\Desktop"

I would be extremely grateful to receive any advice as to how to delete the shortcut.

Have tried dragging the shortcut to the Recycle Bin, also tried right clicking on the shortcut and selecting delete and also selected the shortcut and pressed the keyboard delete key without success.

My thanks,

Ian.

If you get a hex decimal error code when you try to delete it, then this inability to delete Desktop icons is because your Desktop folder has been uploaded to Microsoft One Drive and you are not logged in.  If you open File Explorer and navigate to the OneDrive folder, you probably will see a "Desktop" folder under it.  Open this folder and you will probably see the Fusion 360 shortcut.  If this is the case, look at your taskbar icon for OneDrive and see it you are logged out which is the OneDrive cloud with a small red "x" on it.  Log into OneDrive, using your Microsoft log-in and you will be able to delete the shortcut.  My screen capture does not show the small "x" as I am not logged off.
