Ungrouping Nested Components in an Assembly

Hello, please see my attached screenshot. I unintentionally created this set of nested components. I would like these to all be un-grouped/unwound and just be part of my normal assembly browser hierarchy. Is this possible? Thank you.

There are some caveats here.  The technique shown in the screencast below will only work if your sub-assembly component is a local components (not an external one), and if there are no cross-component references (e.g. sketching on a face of another component).

And, as shown, this is a history-based operation itself.  If you roll back before these features, your browser will go back to the way it was.

If the components are self contained and don't reference the other components you want to remove from the sub component you can use copy Paste New then delete the components from the subassembly. You might even get this to work if there are references but you'd need to fix any reference that are lost when you delete the originals.
