I have been following along with Peter Doering's excellent video "Fusion 360 - T-Spline tiled sphere". When it comes to refolding a piece of sheet metal combined with a curved body, I encounter the error "curve is broken into two discontinuous pieces".
My steps are:
- Create a sketch with a straight line and 90deg arc
- Create a sheet metal flange along the arc and bend it
- Combine the flange with an existing curved body
- Refold
This results in the error "curve is broken into two discontinuous pieces". The error does not occur if I do not combine. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
