Undo Button Dropdown in Drawing Files

I am trying to understand why there is no dropdown button next to the undo button when in a drawing file.  The design file allows for the undo dropdown so I can select a certain number of operations to undo, but the drawing does not have that same feature.  Why?

Hello

Thanks for posting. Nice question!

Mainly, in design workspace we do step by step procedure to create or edit a design. Like, we create a sketch, use different sketch tools and then finish sketch, use a feature etc. For this process, it can be easy to use undo dropdown to go back to a certain stage.

But, for drawing environment, we use annotation and projection tools to create drawing. Not like creating or editing any 2d/3d objects. That is why it followed that functionality.

It is totally my personal opinion. I'll be also waiting for a proper answer for this question.

I see what you are saying, but that does not mitigate the fact that some users would prefer to have a dropdown box for undo in the drawing environment, too.  I'm not sure why somebody would think users want a different interface for undo just because it is a drawing and not a part.  The thinking of people (programmers) who most likely don't even use the product boggle the mind, sometimes.
