UNDEFINED ERROR! when combining two bodies

I'm trying to combine two bodies and it's giving me this "UNDEFINED ERROR" error.

I've imported two times the same project and moved them both a little bit so I can make a panel mount for 2 XT60 connectors, yet when I try to combine the objects it fails.

Attached is the screencap and the f3d file.

F360 version: 2.0.10244

Windows 10 20H2

Thank you for the help! 🙂

Here you go, model attached.  In this case a workaround is the easiest solution.  Make each component active, in turn, make a new sketch inside the walls of top and bottom body, and extrude it a very small distance as a Join.  This will join all bodies together as one.

Did my method solve your issue?  Did you need further documentation on what I did?

this looks like a bug.  Created FUS-84810 for this issue.  Thanks for reporting it, and for sharing the model.  It helps a lot.

Thanks a lot for taking a look at this! Unfortunately it seems I didn't explain myself well enough.

I want to join Body1 with Body1 and Body2 with Body2. What you did is join Body1 with Body2. That also works on my end.
BTW, sorry for the default names, this model was downloaded from Thingiverse and I didn't rename them. 😛

I'm glad I could find a bug! 🙂

To further add detail, I'll carefully write down the steps to reproduce the bug.

1. Activate the parent component, the top one named "Untitled".
2. Select the combine tool.
3. Target body: Body2.
4. Tool body: The other Body2 from the other component.
5. Press OK.
6. Get the error.

The error is related to those inner holes that almost touch. If I remove them making some extrusions, the combine tool works just fine.

I've attached the model with my shape I wanted.
