Unable to upgrade, version already installed

Hi All

Fusion 360 is warning a user on a laptop that an update is needed by 14th July. The running version is 2.0.8809 so OK, it needs updating.

If I download the client installer and run as admin, the install fails because the latest version is already installed.

If I login to Windows as admin and run Fusion 360, the running version is 2.0.10356.

I'd be happy to start over but the upgrade fails and I can't uninstall the current version as Windows doesn't list it as being installed in the first place. There are other Autodesk products installed too (AutoCAD, Inventor) but Fusion just doesn't get a mention.

Before I wipe this laptop and go from scratch, does anyone know of another option?

Thanks in advance

@it can you perform a clean uninstall of Fusion 360 and try to reinstall?

Hi,

Future reference:

Fusion installs the updates automatically if there is an internet connection. If it does not work, it is advisable to remain calm and wait 1-2 reboots before resorting to the Clean Uninstall.
