Unable to set dimensions. After I try a few times, Fusion360 crashes.

First day learning Fusion360 here.  So far I am not very good.  When I attempt to set the dimensions of a piece, the number changes.  Sometimes to what it was before, sometimes to a number that seems random.  If I try enough times, Fusion360 crashes.

This is what it looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaSXGmhfONk

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't yet know what triggers the inability to set dimensions.  When that happens, pressing Esc seems to trigger the crash.

I believe your Fusion 360 issue is caused by your operating system.  Fusion 360 is not supported on Windows 7 anymore and what you describe is one symptom of this incompatibility.  You can still use Fusion but instead of trying to enter dimensions during the initial sketch entry, use the dimensioning tool to apply all your needed dimensions.  I cannot tell you any other issues that you may encounter but you can expect some along the way.
