I'm trying to select this face:

But I can't select it:

- Time Magazine’s Person of the Year 2006
- Apple M1 Max rMBP A2485 // Latest MacOS // Latest Fusion
- Usually working off files uploaded to Fusion as: Step, STL, SLDPRT. If it matters ask me.

Do you have a tool selected while trying to select?

I don't have any problem just selecting that surface but it doesn't highlight well before selection.

Is it just not highlighting so it looks like you can't select it? If you press Ctrl+N to enable component colours does it highlight better?

When you click and hold there are 2 faces to select, the bottom selection if a back face, what is selected if you choose the top selection in on the menu? If it's not selectable at all does a restart of Fusion help?

I have had a graphical bug recently where, depending on my current zoom, my selection highlights disappear on some faces. I havent really tried to reproduce it, so Im not sure when or why it happens. I just know that it doesnt actually affect my selection (when using a tool like Fillet, my selection count goes up and down as expected); its just a graphical issue for me.

As mentioned by @HughesTooling, it looks like the face might be properly appearing in the long-click list, so I suspect this might be similar... you might try selecting the face while in some sort of tool and see if the tool still behaves correctly despite the selection not highlighting.

Is it just not highlighting so it looks like you can't select it?

It's as if the face does not exist. If I click on it nothing gets selected or highlighted. I think sometimes when this happens I am able to select it it just doesn't get highlighted in blue but I can't confirm.

I can click on the face and then hit delete and nothing happens.

If you press Ctrl+N to enable component colours does it highlight better?

Command + N opens a new file, control + N does nothing. I'm assuming you're talking about color coding components outlined here?:

When you click and hold there are 2 faces to select, the bottom selection if a back face, what is selected if you choose the top selection in on the menu?

Idk, can't test that now. It's working now:

If it's not selectable at all does a restart of Fusion help?

I've experienced this since the last major update. Many restarts in between.

A lot of the apparent selection issues should be much improved in the next update. At least, the current one where you select, you know it's selected, the toolpath UI shows it's selected, but the model does not change color.
